Miley Cyrus’ younger sister Noah Cyrus jumps into campaign to ban Central Park carriage horses

Miley Cyrus’ younger sister Noah Cyrus jumps into campaign to ban Central Park carriage horses
The campaign to ban horse-drawn carriages in the city has a new celebrity benefactor - Miley Cyrus’s little sister.

Child actress Noah Cyrus, an avid horse rider, used her 13th birthday Tuesday to raise cash for the group trying to scrap the Central Park carriages that critics say are inhumane.

She urged friends and fans to celebrate her “"Tweet13 Birthday" by giving $13 or more to New Yorkers for Clean, Livable and Safe Streets instead of gifts, or signing a petition to get rid of the carriages.

"When I first learned about the inhumane treatment of horses in New York City, I was devastated. As a rider, I would never put my horse at risk in dangerous midtown traffic,” Cyrus said.

NYCLASS lead organizer Allie Feldman said the group has been working with the Cyrus girls’ mom Tish since first getting in touch with her on Twitter over a year ago. The clan owns several horses.
